Intern Master’s Psychology at Fort Hays State University

I am Amanda. I am currently a master’s student in Clinical Psychology at Fort Hays State University, having already completed a master’s in industrial/organizational psychology.

Through my professional experience, I have developed skills in effective communication, problem-solving, performance enhancement, and leadership that translate smoothly into the therapeutic setting. In the corporate setting, I have led teams, developed training programs, and provided high-level support in complex and pressured environments, consistently focusing on trust, collaboration, and achieving positive outcomes. My background includes working with at-risk children and teenagers in a camping environment, helping them develop coping skills to address behavior challenges and foster growth and success.

My passion for mental health and personal growth guides my therapeutic approach. I draw on my education, incorporating evidence-based psychological practices and professional experience, to create a safe and supportive space for clients. With respect to each client’s individual experiences and strengths, we will work together towards meaningful change.
